Integration into new line

Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. (MSL) is the largest manufacturer of seamless tubes in India. framag succeeded in impressing the Indian company both with its high technological expertise and with the customised engineering of upstream and downstream system components. Accordingly, the industrial equipment builder supplied two type KKS 1250L saws for cutting tubes in layers for an MSL new seamless tube plant. The saws will be integrated into the new line after the cooling bed. (FUTURE: The saws were integrated into the new line after the cooling bed and have been operating since mid-2017 to the utmost satisfaction of the customer.) The carbide tube layer sawing machines cut the tubes in layers to customer-ready sales lengths. The severing of top and bottom scrap is also more efficient with the tube layer saw.
