RSA at the Euroblech

Assuring a competitive position by efficient production

At present the prevailing topic of conversations of manufacturers and processors of tubes, sections, and sheet metal is the pressure on the sales prices and simultaneously increasing demands on quality and delivery flexibility. This will also affect the Euroblech, which will take place in Hanover from October 24th to October 28th, 2006. For RSA these are reasons enough to place this year's participation in the exhibition under the motto: "Modular machines against cost pressure". In the foreground there is the aspect, how all shapes and kind of materials of tubes, sections, and sheet metal can be deburred cost effectively. But also questions regarding the automated sawing, chamfering, measuring, cleaning, and stacking of tubes and sections are dealt with.

According to Dipl.-Ing. Rainer Schmidt, business manager of RSA Entgrat- u. Trenn-Systeme, a great information demand exists as to the question which deburring method in combination with which tool will be really suitable for the respective part spectrum of the customer. A second important point to increase efficiency is, how processing times and personnel costs can possibly be reduced by intelligent interlinking systems. "The customer has the advantage, because RSA is a system developer and moreover is supplying the engineering for interlinking our modules to existing machines", emphasises Rainer Schmidt.

The most recent example for this is the requirement of a tube processor with regard to rendering more efficient the deburring of short tubes of a dimensional range from 40 mm up to 150 mm length and 10 mm up to 60 mm diameter. RSA has integrated the deburring into the manufacturing process of the customer. A singling bowl feeder serves as an interface to the automatic deburring machine. The fully automatic deburring is effected by two roller brushes, which are simultaneously processing both end faces.

In that factory rumbling was replaced by the brush deburring machine called RASAPLAN.
The increase in efficiency has its roots in saving manual labour, a significant increase of output and the reduction of overheads. According to the operating company, especially the disposal of sludge, which is left during rumbling is a significant cost factor. Being a direct supplier to the automotive industry the company was at the same time able to increase quality, because - due to the new deburring method - defined and reproducible edge conditions of the tube ends are now guaranteed.

RSA as developer and manufacturer of deburring machines and deburring brushes will display at the Euroblech different systems as well as numerous tools.
The company can be found in hall 12, stand 68.
