Four axis Pick/Place Packing system completes fully automatic sawing line

Aktualisiert am: 20.03.2006 13:50
With the introduction of our NEW BEWO SCP 90 four axis Pick and Place Packing system, Bewo has resolved the issues of handling the output rates from its SCF range of ultra high production, automatic tube sawing machines. The SCP90 is capable of stacking cut to length tubes, at high speed in various desired shapes, sizes and containers. With this Pick and Place Packing system, Bewo has both listened and reacted again to the desires and needs of its many and varied customers.

The SCP 90 collects the tubes from the saw, deburrer, measuring system or tube washing machine into a magazine, from there a multi axis robot arm picks up the required amount of tubes and transports them into the required position. The operator selects a packing requirement from the control, e.g. into a container, stillage, crate, square or hexagonal bundles. Depending on the cut length, multiple containers can be utilised so that the SCP 90 can automatically start packing the next container once the first is complete. This ability removes the normal production down time caused while the operator changes over between containers. The cut to length tubes are lifted by a series of magnets on the end of the robot arm (optional vacuum system for non magnetic materials). Due to the SCP 90 ability to automatically change to a new container when the original one has being filled, it enables the system to have an operational capacity of up to 8000 products per hour, making it the perfect partner for Bewo's latest SCF range of ultra fast automatic circular sawing machines.

Bewo has an excellent reputation and many years experience as a producer of industrial metal cutting circular sawing machines and this celebrates it's 70th anniversary by exhibiting a complete NEW cutting, deburring, measuring, washing and packing line at the Tube & Wire 2006 exhibition in Düsseldorf.
