Redeveloped V505 has higher production-speed!
Due to increased demand for CNC angle lines, VOORTMAN has redeveloped its V505 angle line. The technical changes made to the machines have resulted in increased production speeds than before. Furthermore, the exterior appearance has been changed, so that the look of the machine matches the rest of Voortman' equipment range.
This punching/shearing system is specially designed to process angles for companies involved in the manufacture of electrical transmission towers, diagonal trusses and connection angle braces. Processing of angles is the specialty of the V505, but it has also the possibility for punching, numbering and shearing of flat steel. Voortman can see the benefits of these latest developments of the machine, in the number of machines it has recently sold in the World marketplace. The V505 has been acquired by companies from different countries around the world such as the United States, Turkey and Columbia; proving the improved angle line system matches the desires of the market.
Due to the modular design it is possible to order the machine to the suit specific requirements of a customer. Single or triple punch, with or without numbering unit, it is all possible with Voortman. To compliment the machine it is delivered with the user-friendly control-software, which is developed by Voortman Automatisering under their own supervision. The software contains a batch-module. So, during the import of DSTV-data the products are automatically sorted by profile type and/or punch diameter. In combination with the batch software the machine produces in the most economic way.
Because the machine is executed with a pair of positioning-units with measuring rolls, it is possible to position the material very quickly. These measuring rolls provide a continuous and accurate measuring of the profile position. The system can also be fitted with automatic feeding of the angles, the machine is equipped with an infeed cross transport with a chain on which the basic material is buffered
On behalf of the punching of angles, the V505 is equipped with two punching machines, so that it is possible to punch in both flanges. To cut the material to length, the V505 is provided with a hydraulic angle shear. As well the shear, the punching machines are equipped with a hydraulic automatically controlled clamping unit so that the profile won't be distorted during shearing and/or punching.
