ARNTZ to focus on the expanding market for band saw blades

Over the last 15 years, the ARNTZ Group has continued to develop and expand its production and marketing of high-quality band saw blades for cutting metal, with the result that this market segment for advanced techinology now accounts for 80% of the group's business activities. With a turnover of around 25 million Euros and 180 employees in four locations, the international specialist for cutting tools intends to continue to actively participate in the expanding band saw market. This means that ARNTZ, with export sales of 75%, will in future have to be more focused in order to be able to continue to play a major role in the international Champions League of band saw blade manufacturers.
This led ARNTZ at the beginning of the year to make the Strategie decision to discontinue its remaining activities in the circular saw segment and to sell this part of the business.
After over 220 years and now in ist 7th generation, ARNTZ has once again managed to successfully adapt its
product range and strategically realign the Company. Similar steps have been taken several times in the past and, in retrospect, have always turned out to be correct, forward-thinking decisions.
